Cairo is one of those cities where ancient tradition commands a place even in the 21st century. Not just in the museum or at the pyramids outside the city, but in rush-hour traffic too. For many locals and tourists though, the horse and carriage, known locally as the hantoor, is a must-do-it experience, one that even the president of China should try during his visit.
