Chinese Foreign Minister, Wang Yi, visited Namibia Friday on the final leg of his tour of four African countries. Wang met both the Namibian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of International Relations and Cooperation and President Hage Geingob. They held bilateral talks touching on the action plan of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation Johannesburg Summit and issues affecting both the region and globally. The FOCAC summit determined the ten key cooperation plans. They also agreed to strengthen ties in ten major fields including industrialization, agricultural modernization, infrastructure, and trade and investment facilitation among others. The plans are expected to further boost the relations between China and Namibia.
