East Africa regional leaders meet in Ethiopia to discuss South Sudan

Leaders from the IGAD bloc are gathering in the capital Addis Ababa. They’re meeting on the crisis in South Sudan. But President Salva Kiir will not be attending the summit. South Sudan’s northern neighbour, Sudan, will be in attendance, however. Sudan’s Foreign Ministry has confirmed that President Omar al-Bashir will fly in to Addis Ababa for the summit.
