The United Nations Children’s Fund, or UNICEF, says the total number of girls married in childhood globally is now estimated at 12 million a year. This represents a drop of 25 million over a decade. And Ethiopia is among the countries that are contributing to this progress. It has cut child marriages by a third, over the past 10 years. CGTN’s Coletta Wanjohi reports from Addis Ababa.
