The humanitarian situation in South Sudan continues to get dire. The ongoing internal conflict has caused overcrowding at most IDPs camps and Protection of Civilian sites. At the end of 2016 it was estimated that over 1.9 million South Sudanese were displaced within the country. Another 1.9 million are also said to have sought safety in neighboring countries.
