– Early exit polls suggest Tunisia’s moderate Ennahada Party emerging as the winner in Sunday’s parliamentary electrons. However, with only a small proportion of votes, building a governing coalition will be difficult.
– The UN Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) on Sunday warned against attacks on civilian infrastructures in the country. The statement was made after the eastern-based army attacked the International Airport of the city of Misurata, some 200 km east of the capital Tripoli.
– Kenya is celebrating a strong showing at the 2019 IAAF World Championships in Doha. Kenya won 11 total medals. That was second only to the United States, which won a total of 29 medals. 5 of Kenya’s 11 medals were gold.
