– Retired law professor Kais Saied is projected as the winner in Tunisia’s presidential election. Official results will be published later on Monday but two separate exit polls gave Saied more than 70 percent of the vote.
– Final rallies are being held before Mozambicans head to the polls on Tuesday to select their next president. The ruling Frelimo Party and incumbent leader Fillipe Nyusi are expected to coast to easy victories.
– Eliud Kipchoge says there’s a lot of running left in his future. During a Facebook Live interview on Sunday, he put to rest any rumors that he plans to retire. Kipchoge ran into the history books on Saturday by becoming the first person to run a marathon in under 2 hours.
