– South Africa’s struggling state-owned airline South African Airways (SAA) could cut more than 900 jobs as it restructures to stem severe financial losses.
– According to a new report released Monday, Africans on average can now travel to 27 African countries visa-free or with a visa on arrival. The report, done by the African Development Bank, suggests reforms are being enacted to make business, cultural and leisure travel within Africa more seamless.
– Egypt says its annual inflation rate dropped to its lowest in nearly two decades, down to 2.4% in October from 4.3% the previous month.
