Migrant Crisis EU

Police in Rome raided a migrant center near Tiburtina train station on Thursday, July 12, in order to carry out identification checks. The camp houses approximately 300 migrants who sleep in tents next to the station. Meanwhile, Germany, Austria and Italy said they believed they could work together in order to jointly solve problems relating to the Mediterranean route taken by tens of thousands of migrants from Africa to Europe. VOA’s Vincent Makori reports.
