In Kenya, Kisumu in the Western part of the country has undergone rapid growth in terms of infrastructure. In just under 10 years, the Lakeside City has seen an increase in highways and bridges, that has extensively transformed its status. Now, in conjunction with the national government, local authorities are set to commission its re-constructed port that has otherwise been dormant for the last 20 years.
