South African football fans gathered at the continent’s busiest airport this morning to welcome the Spanish champions Barcelona for their clash against Mamelodi Sundowns in Johannesburg in honour of the former president of the Republic, Nelson Mandela. The match will be played at the sold-out Soccer City stadium, the very place where Spain were crowned champions of the world in 2010. CGTN’s Sias du Plessis has more from Johannesburg.
