The United Nations Children’s fund, UNICEF, is working to stop young people in South Sudan from joining armed groups by ensuring they can stay in school. UNICEF is seeking to revitalize the country’s education system which has been ravaged by civil war. So far, the schools have taught close to half a million children in the war torn country. CGTN’s Patrick Oyet reports from northern South Sudan.
