Why Kenya is seeking to increase duty on kerosene
Kerosene in Kenya is costing the Country, PS State Department of Petroleum has said.

He says due to the difference of price, cartels have found an avenue to adulterate the fuel. The PS Andrew Kamau says the government want to increase the duty to be the same as that of Diesel.

He says there is need to shift from the use of Kerosene to gas cylinders. The Government is looking at reducing the price of LGP gas cylinders at a cheaper price to encourage more Kenyans to use instead of Kerosene.
